Ewing and family. The Southfork Hotel is located at Central Expressway and 16th St. in Plano.
TIAA members observed how wine was made from the vine to the bottle with a great tour of the Lone Oak Winery in Burleson. We walked through the vineyard, saw the grape-crushing equipment and the aging room with oak barrels. Then we went to the tasting room to sample those wonderful grapes.
TIAA members visited the SMU Meadows Museum and saw Jack Kilby’s remarkable photographs as well as his Nobel Prize; heard a lecture by Anne Peterson on the creativity of this genius and toured the largest and most comprehensive collection of Spanish art outside of Spain including works by Picasso, Goya, Modin, etc.
