Pegasus Theater "Living Black and White" Play

Pegasus Theater presents XSR:Die!, Eisemann Center, Richardson, TX, Thursday, January 17, 2013 – Henry Hunsacker returns with yet another hilarious adventure.  XSR:Die! (in theater lingo this means to Exit Stage Right and die) takes place backstage at a Baltimore Theater.  It is opening night of a new play, the author makes last-minute changes , a shot rings out and someone falls dead!  Harry, a would-be actor and detective, has stumbled into the wrong theater and things just got more complicated.

Dickens of a Christmas

Let’s  ride our bus to McKinney’s premier festival, the 32nd annual Dickens of a Christmas. This event has an old fashioned, Victorian Christmas atmosphere with horse-drawn carriages, traveling carolers, visits with Santa Claus, a Christmas-tree lighting ceremony and activities for all ages.  We will do some of that holiday shopping in one place with over 100 boutiques, art galleries, bookstores, apparel stores, gift shops, antiques, eat dinner at a café of your choice and be back at TI by 8.  Cost of transportation is $10 for members and $11 for non-members.

D/FW Operations Tour (SOLD OUT)

Ever wonder what happens behind the walls in secure areas of DFW Airport? Come on a private tour of their Administration Building to watch an interactive display of hundreds of flights all over the world, learn about various wildlife and security problems, and then visit the Fire and Police Stations. Our last stop will be Founders’ Plaza, which offers magnificent views of aircraft as they take off and land and provides a radio broadcast of air-traffic-control communications from the FAA tower. We will depart at 9 a.m. a.m. for the 10 a.m. tour, which lasts 2 hours.

Chihuly at Night and the Dallas Wind Symphony (SOLD OUT)

We’ve seen it during the day but imagine those thousands of pieces of glass being lit up at night accompanied by great music from the Dallas Wind Symphony.  We will leave TI., walk around the Arboretum, gape at the Chihuly exhibits in the evening glow of moonlight and tree lights (wear a jacket and comfortable shoes because the trams will not be running), enjoy a picnic (bring your own food, blanket and/or folding chairs), vote for your favorite Halloween costume at 7:15 as they parade across the stage, enjoy a rousing concert 7:30 and head back to TI at 10.  Cost, including transportation
