The Senior Source, our Community Involvement partner, has a group that was going to read to some elementary school kids next Tuesday, April 14, and the group has now had to back out.
Instead of cancelling, they decided to reach out to TIAA to see if there was a group that could fill in and not disapoint the kids! Originally, they had eight people (which would be ideal) but, at this point, they have lowered their expectations. The Senior Source will provide transportation from Texins to the school and will pick up the volunteers at 8:45 am with a return about noon.
